A New Way to See a Place
Every pixel in a photograph carries data. The Pictometric series turns that data into design — analyzing the color and tone distribution of the Rome destination image and rendering it as a proportional graphic unique to that place.
On the front: the Rome Pictometric — a visual fingerprint built from the warm golden ochre of the Colosseum travertine stone in afternoon sun, the deep terracotta of the ancient brick courses below the arches, and the rich Mediterranean blue of the Roman sky above.
