A New Way to See a Place
Every pixel in a photograph carries data. The Pictometric series turns that data into design — analyzing the color and tone distribution of the Alaska destination image and rendering it as a proportional graphic unique to that place.
On the front: the Alaska Pictometric — a visual fingerprint built from the deep glacial blue and white of the Mendenhall ice, the dark evergreen of the surrounding spruce forest, and the pale grey of the Alaskan sky above the valley. The Garment
