A New Way to See a Place
Every pixel in a photograph carries data. The Pictometric series turns that data into design — taking the colors of the travel poster and turning them into a proportional graphic unique to that place.
On the front: the Hawaii Pictometric — a visual fingerprint built from the vivid greens of the jungle canopy, the rainbow streaks of orange, purple, and green on the eucalyptus bark, and the deep Pacific blue visible through the tree line. On the back: the full Road to Hana Rainbow Eucalyptus vintage travel poster from The Postcards Collection — Maui, Hawaii — The Road Less Driven.
On the sleeve: the GPS coordinates of the Road to Hana, marking the spot where the photograph behind this poster was taken. That original photograph is also available separately as a fine art print.
Inside the neck: a custom Maui postage stamp, the quiet detail that ties every piece in The Postcards Collection back to the place that inspired it.
