A New Way to See a Place
Every pixel in a photograph carries data. The Pictometric series turns that data into design — analyzing the color and tone distribution of the San Francisco destination image and rendering it as a proportional graphic unique to that place.
On the front: the San Francisco Pictometric — a visual fingerprint built from the iconic international orange of the Golden Gate towers, the soft grey-white of the fog bank rolling through, and the deep Pacific blue of the bay below.
