Every pixel in a photograph carries data. The Pictometric series turns that data into design — analyzing the color and tone distribution of the Washington destination image and rendering it as a proportional graphic unique to that place.
On the front: the Washington Pictometric — a visual fingerprint built from the vivid purples and pinks of the subalpine wildflowers, the glacial white of the Rainier snowpack, and the deep forest green of the fir stands.
