The Postcards Collection – South Korea – Pictometric Tank

$45.00

Gyeongbokgung Palace rising in carved wood and painted rafters above Seoul, decoded pixel by pixel and worn across your chest. The front graphic is a Pictometric — the exact color data from our Gyeongbokgung Palace Seoul vintage travel poster, broken into proportional bars that map this place like a fingerprint. Flip it around and the full poster is on your back. Garment-dyed, soft-washed, and built to look better the more you wear it. Take South Korea with you.

Description

A New Way to See a Place

Every pixel in a photograph carries data. The Pictometric series turns that data into design — analyzing the color and tone distribution of the South Korea destination image and rendering it as a proportional graphic unique to that place.

On the front: the South Korea Pictometric — a visual fingerprint built from the deep royal blues and greens of the dancheong painted rafters, the warm terracotta of the palace courtyard tiles, and the pale grey stone of the palace walls and gates. On the back: the full Gyeongbokgung Palace Seoul vintage travel poster from The Postcards Collection — Seoul, South Korea — Ancient Order in a Modern City.

No two destinations produce the same Pictometric. This one is South Korea.

The Garment

Garment-Dyed Heavy Cotton Tank | 6.1 oz Ring-Spun Cotton

100% ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed and soft-washed for a broken-in feel from day one. Designed to get better with every wash.

Each wash softens the dye slightly, aging the garment in a way that makes it more yours over time. Take South Korea with you.
