Every pixel in a photograph carries data. The Pictometric series turns that data into design — analyzing the color and tone distribution of the North Carolina destination image and rendering it as a proportional graphic unique to that place.
On the front: the North Carolina Pictometric — a visual fingerprint built from the iconic black-and-white diamond pattern of the Cape Lookout Lighthouse tower, the pale golden sand of the barrier island, and the deep Atlantic blue stretching to the horizon.
