The sandstone canyons of the American Southwest are among the most otherworldly landscapes on the continent. Flash floods carved these narrow passages over thousands of years, leaving walls that curve and glow in warm amber light that seems to come from within the rock itself.

This image was made during the Postcards Vol. 1 collection as part of an extended period in the American Southwest.
