Every pixel in a photograph carries data. The Pictometric series turns that data into design — taking the colors of the travel poster and turning them into a proportional graphic unique to that place.
On the front: the Ireland Pictometric — a visual fingerprint built from the vivid saturated green of the Irish countryside, the deep grey-blue of the Atlantic along the western cliffs, and the warm amber of late evening light over the bog and heather. On the back: the full Ireland Cliffs and Coast vintage travel poster from The Postcards Collection — Ireland — Where the Light Is Softer and the Green Goes Deeper.
On the sleeve: the coordinates of Trinity College Library — 53.34395° N, 6.25691° W — marking the spot where the photograph behind this poster was taken. That original photograph is also available separately as a fine art print.
Inside the neck: a custom Dublin postage stamp, the quiet detail that ties every piece in The Postcards Collection back to the place that inspired it.
