A New Way to See a Place
Every pixel in a photograph carries data. The Pictometric series turns that data into design — taking the colors of the travel poster and turning them into a proportional graphic unique to that place.
On the front: the Greece Pictometric — a visual fingerprint built from the brilliant white of the Cycladic architecture against the vivid Aegean blue of the sea and sky, the warm gold of the midday sun on the stone, and the deep cobalt of the church domes above the harbor. On the back: the full Mykonos Cyclades vintage travel poster from The Postcards Collection — Mykonos, Greece — Sun-Bleached Walls and Deep Blue Skies.
On the sleeve: the GPS coordinates of Mykonos, marking the spot where the photograph behind this poster was taken. That original photograph is also available separately as a fine art print.
Inside the neck: a custom Mykonos postage stamp, the quiet detail that ties every piece in The Postcards Collection back to the place that inspired it.
