Description
A New Way to See a Place
Every pixel in a photograph carries data. The Pictometric series turns that data into design — analyzing the color and tone distribution of the France destination image and rendering it as a proportional graphic unique to that place.
On the front: the France Pictometric — a visual fingerprint built from the dark warm grey of the iron latticework against the pale silver-blue of a Parisian sky, the deep gold of the tower’s illumination against the night, and the soft glow of the city lights below. On the back: the full Eiffel Tower Paris vintage travel poster from The Postcards Collection — Paris, France — Built for a World’s Fair and Somehow Never Left.
No two destinations produce the same Pictometric. This one is France.
