Description
A New Way to See a Place
Every pixel in a photograph carries data. The Pictometric series turns that data into design — analyzing the color and tone distribution of the England destination image and rendering it as a proportional graphic unique to that place.
On the front: the England Pictometric — a visual fingerprint built from the warm amber glow of the Tower Bridge towers at night, the deep midnight blue of the Thames below, and the streaks of red and white light from passing traffic tracing the city’s movement. On the back: the full Tower Bridge Thames Night vintage travel poster from The Postcards Collection — London, England — Victorian Towers and the Pulse of the City.
No two destinations produce the same Pictometric. This one is England.
