A New Way to See a Place
Every pixel in a photograph carries data. The Pictometric series turns that data into design — analyzing the color and tone distribution of the Cinque Terre destination image and rendering it as a proportional graphic unique to that place.
On the front: the Cinque Terre Pictometric — a visual fingerprint built from the warm rose, ochre, and sea-green of the Cinque Terre village facades stacked on the cliffs, the deep Ligurian blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea below, and the pale haze of the Italian coastal light.
